The company’s success is rooted in its decades old relationships with high-end European furniture manufacturers, their expertise and design savvy. As the company rebranded, Gordon needed a unified look, tone and voice to go to market with. Our team of writers and designers helped Gordon craft their unique verbal and visual voice that’s as vibrant and unique as their furniture. We also created a stunning new website and a powerful social campaign to better showcase their seating and table solutions to a varied audience of architects, designers and specifiers.

BRAND STRATEGY & MARKETING COLLATERAL

A beautiful, bold strategy and color palette.

Before we delved into specific initiatives, we zeroed in on Gordon’s unique model in order to solidify the brand identity and presence. First, Splendor helped strategize and formulate a color palette which was subsequently translated into a comprehensive brand standards and guidelines document. While developing Gordon’s visual standards, we also crafted powerful brand messaging and content which was used across various mediums including internal documentation, the website, collateral, social campaigns, and email campaigns. To better arm the product sales team, we also designed a massive product look-book, as well as product brochures, and more – all of which were bold, elegant, fun and distinctly Gordon.

A big part of our success with Gordon involved the design and development of a one-of-a-kind website. This particular site was crafted with the utmost level of sophistication and user-experience in mind. With white space, a captivating combination of brand color palette, creative copy & CTAs, we shaped the ultimate user experience for designers, architects and buyers. We also implemented state-of-the-art functionality within the site, such as an interactive lookbook, a detailed brochure design, product details, designer bios, galleries, and more.

To further embed their new brand amongst Gordon’s audience of architects, designers, and influencers, Splendor helped launch a prolific social media effort across Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. With a combination of engaging and bold visuals coupled with strategic captions & hash-tagging, — as well as attentive community management — we were able to boost the company’s awareness and elevate its cheeky, artsy personality.

We knew Gordon’s target audience was constantly checking their email inboxes, so Splendor naturally put a large focus on email marketing. Our team regularly wrote and designed engaging email blasts to drive interest and capture the attention of their customers. From whimsical subject line headers to captivating visual content, these eblasts featured product lines, lookbooks, designer spotlights, and more. Within the first few months of working together, our campaigns garnered the highest click-through-rates to date, garnering over 55%.
