Starfield Companies came to Splendor in need of a new website design to go with their new identity. Starfield Companies is a new entity, formed upon the recent merger of iStar and Safehold and the creation of Star Holdings. They wanted a website that conveyed who they are, while honoring the roots from which they started.
One thing that sets Starfield Companies apart from the competition is their dedication to putting people first. When creating new spaces, they consider how it will be used and by whom. Their roots in reshaping and reviving neighborhoods stretches back over a decade with the Asbury Park redevelopment project in Asbury park, New Jersey. Spearheaded by iStar Residential, this is considered one of the nation’s most ambitious urban-revival initiatives. Turning an undesirable area into one of the more sought after regions on the Jersey Shore is no easy feat, and Starfield Companies continues to make waves in this shore town.
A company as ambitious and prolific as Starfield Companies needed a website that matched the tone. The website design needed to be clean and smart, while conveying the modern and refreshing perspective this company has.
Splendor designed the website so it would be user friendly and intuitive, allowing visitors to easily navigate between the company history and selected projects. The color scheme is simple, yet effective; using blue and white to elicit feelings of trust and reliability, while also giving nod to the beach town where most of their current projects are located. The results? A killer looking website that speaks to Starfield Companies new identity.
