Client / Designer Relationship

This video is hysterical, but, sadly, not far from the truth. Too often with creative services, the client tries to negotiate fees in a very unreasonable way. The amount of time and effort required to make the project a success often goes under-appreciated by the client, and the provider works far harder and longer than was budgeted for.

What’s worse is when the client tries to negotiate AFTER the work is complete. You would never eat a meal and then tell the restaurant that you need them to lower the price after the fact. Yet, far too often with creative services, such as website design, logo design, brochure design, marketing services, photography services and video services, this is exactly what happens.

Splendor Design Group works hard and provides expert design, creative and marketing services. We love working with clients who appreciate our efforts and don’t insult us by trying to low ball our fees or delaying payment after our hard work is done.
