In The Sea of Sameness, Everyone Drowns
Here’s the hard honest truth; no one cares about your company, your products, and your messaging – until you make them care.

We are really proud of all our accomplishments this year – our team of designers, programmers and project directors is the best accumulation of talent we’ve ever put together. Good design is actually really hard. Like great athletes, great designers only make it look easy. To be recognized for design excellence by our peers in such a subjective way is really gratifying.
So, what does that actually entail? It means that 9 of our clients’ various projects over the past year in the health and wellness industry (the fastest-growing segment of the economy) were recognized for design excellence by GDUSA’s Health + Wellness Design Awards.
For those who may not be familiar, Graphic Design USA (GDUSA) is the premiere trade publication (for the past 50 years) for graphic design professionals. Graphic Design USA, also runs The American Web Design Awards (7 for Splendor) and The American Graphic Design Awards (11 for the year). Both competitions are well-known and significant; the American Graphic Design Awards is among the biggest and most prestigious graphic design contests in the industry.
It also means that the the 600+ members of The Academy Interactive and Visual Arts judged over 4,000 entries in the W3 Awards, and, out of that pool of entries, selected around 400 to be honored as Gold Winners. This years winners group included the website www.guttenplan.com, one of our recent website design projects for Guttenplan’s, a Middletown, New Jersey-based company specializing in the production of frozen dough products. We also racked up a Silver Award in recognition of our agency’s website design for Monroe Township Library – which won not only a W3 Award, but also a Davey Award, which is another design competition sanctioned by the AIVA.
In The Communicator Awards, a 22-year old competition, also sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, saw fit to honor Splendor Design Group’s work – in this case, for 3 successful website designs (one Gold, 2 Silver), 1 mobile-specific website design, and 2 logo creation projects that we executed in 2015. Entries for the Communicator Awards are scored on a 100 point scale by the judges. Generally, Gold winners receive a score of 90 or above and Silver winners receive a score of 70 to 89.
Most recently, Splendor attended the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association awards dinner, where the design team was honored with 4 JASPER Awards – 1 for excellence in corporate branding, 1 for brochure design, and 2 for mobile-optimized website design.
Every project we undertake is unique and custom-tailored to align with and support our clients’ marketing goals and objectives, and each and every one of the winning websites, logos, and marketing pieces were created using the same Splendor Design Group process, which has been perfected and honed over 15 years through many hundreds of successful projects.
“Receiving these premier awards from the leaders in the design industry is a true testament to our commitment to delivering creative marketing solutions backed by outstanding design capabilities, and complemented by our client service-driven culture,” said Adam Taylor, Founder and CEO of Splendor Design Group.
