With decades of experience in orchestrating school trips and student travel, Jon Gamza approached Splendor to create not only high impact graphic design, but an entire identity for a new business. The challenge at the onset was creating a brand that was completely new in the market, but was operated by a true industry veteran.
educational website design
At the same time, we designed and developed a totally custom website that would highlight the various trips that eduSTAR offered, and showcase the broad range of options available for each trip. The website focuses on certain cities as its primary destinations, and conveys the information clearly to the most important segment of the target market: the teachers.
The website is built to be search engine friendly, and is based on the WordPress content management system (CMS). WordPress allows the client to log in to the back end of the website and add, edit and delete content in virtually all areas of the website. And because there are several special custom features of the website, Splendor created a customized installation of WordPress to accommodate some specific requirements.
We helped bring the classroom to life for eduSTAR by creating custom
photo montages for each of their destination cities.
Splendor designed a multipage catalog of subjects and destinations for this student travel company. The catalog is used in an email marketing campaign to teachers and school staff, and is also available for download on the website homepage. Within the catalog, as is the case on the website, each destination city and subject is presented with high quality photography as well as clear and well organized type content.
For New York City, which is the primary destination for eduSTAR, we also designed and produced a Broadway-specific brochure to attract drama students and departments. This brochure was highly successful in developing the NYC student travel business for eduSTAR.
